We use Durabase to build single-storey extensions on homes. We can also use it to build standalone garden rooms.
A Durabse can be installed on Ground Screws. Then a steel base frame sits on top. This provides a fast and efficient foundation for walls and floors.

We can have a Durabase extension built within 9 days. This is a saving of over 7 days of labour, not to mention the mess and disruption that comes with days of digging deep holes for the foundation. Ready for the internal works to begin.
This is also perfect for houses where the place you want the extension is limited by access. In a traditional build, you would need a mini digger to help dig the foundations. If you can't use a digger, this means the foundations need to be dug by hand, adding even more time onto the built (and expensive!!).

What is a Ground Screw?
Ground screws are durable steel screws installed in the ground to provide a strong foundation for structures like buildings, decks, and fences without needing concrete.
Are you trying to decide between using concrete blocks or ground screws? There’s no need to ask: There’s a ground screw for every project.
Beam screw, post screw, adapter screw and pipe screw – we have four basic models of screw with different brackets, lengths and measurements depending on what is to be anchored, what the load requirements are and the ground conditions where the screws are to be installed.
As well as all this, we have a number of attachments for special installations. Where you need a concrete supporting block, we can install a screw!
